Adam Lounsbery Really digging this one after a few listens. The first time I heard it I liked everything except the vocals, which often seem off-key and a little too high in the mix. After a second whirl I warmed up to them. They sound like a passionate call from a warrior in the heat of battle. The epic themes and the very stripped down production and simple but heavy riffs are a great combination. Favorite track: Forgotten Minion.

Sojourner Few terms have recently been more overstretched or diluted than 'epic metal', a description now applied to every cheesy seven-minute song about Vikings. Ten years after its release, 'Summon the Stone Throwers' still defies such conventions and outstands by its archaic, unique sound. If your vision of epic metal sounds like the clash of swords among prehistoric ruins rather than wizards playing keyboards, this is the album for you! Favorite track: Summon the Stone Throwers.

thijs3010 Really damn epic. Can't believe how underrated these guys are. The vocals seem to be misunderstood by a lot of people. In the mood of the album, their storytelling sound is only positive. Favorite track: Bow Before the Oligarchy.
